Ludlow Fringe Festival: What’s On At The Brewery

Summer is coming, and that heralds the arrival of Ludlow Fringe, a vibrant and diverse community Arts & Culture festival.

Saturday 17th June

The Ludlow Carnival 2023

Come along and celebrate this year’s theme – Myths, Legends and Fairytales. The carnival procession will depart from the brewery at 4.30pm.

Manos Puestas Trio

Manos Puestas Trio are an unmissable group of virtuoso jazz musicians playing swing, bosanova, be-bop and rumba.


Sunday 18th June

Deborah Rose

International singer, songwriter and guitarist, Deborah’s music is timeless and ethereal, with pure vocals likened to Eva Cassidy.


Wednesday 21st June

Midsummer Ceilidh

An entertaining evening dancing to lively jolly tunes with local band ‘Join the Dots Collective’ and caller Sheila Thackwray. Dancing suitable for all ages and abilities.


Thursday 22nd June

Grey Wolf and Friends

A long-time favourite of the Fringe, Grey Wolf deliver an enticing concoction of Transatlantic folk and self-penned music produced and arranged by themselves and other guests.


Friday 23rd June

Friday Night Comedy Club with Drew Taylor and Friends

Festival regular Drew Taylor, introduces another stellar line up of some of the best comedians from the UK comedy circuit.


Saturday 24th June

The Ludlow Poetry Slam

A knockout night as poets compete for points that lead to prizes! Judges assess quality of writing, performance, and warmth of the applaudience, so who will fire on all syllables and become Ludlow’s Slam Champion?

Featuring special guest appearance by Alistair McGowan.


Sunday 25th June

The Lower Deckers Shanty Group

The Lower Deckers repertoire embraces traditional Shanties, songs of the sea and sailing, folk songs and more!


Tuesday 27th June

The Rotundas

The Rotundas are returning to the Fringe this year not with their same old tat, but with new old tat. You’ll be sure of a bostin’ night!


Wednesday 28th June

Remi Harris: Blues Rock Roadshow

World-acclaimed guitarist Remi Harris explores the sounds of 60s and 70s blues rock with Dave Small on vocals and percussion, Tom Moore on bass and Shane Dixon on drums.


Friday 30th June

Cabaret at the brewery

Scandalously sophisticated, deliciously debauched, and wildly unpredictable. See bold burlesque, daring drag, and marvellous magic. Hear soulful singers, pedantic poets and caustic comedians.


Saturday 1st July

Annette Gregory: Believe Tour 2023

“A voice like velvet.“ Annette will be bringing together original songs and sharing her musical heritage of reggae and soul music, giving some of her favourite songs a jazz feel, but still leaving room for those classic jazz standards.


Sunday 2nd July

FRINGE FINALE - Lucas D and The Groove Ghetto With vocalist Cat Davis!

A fabulously funky, fun-filled, finale with this incredible, professional 7 piece Soul/Funk outfit creating grooves that will captivate and delight and get you out of your seat and strutting your stuff.
