Press Release: Award winning shropshire craft brewery to host its twelfth beer festival

Ludlow Brewery’s ever-popular annual beer festival, Valentine’s Ale Massacre, returns for 2024, featuring 20 plus ales and ciders.
The beer festival, which is running for its 12th year, is being held over three days from Friday 9th February to Sunday 11th February.
The event is extremely popular with local beer aficionados and visitors. Craft beers and real ales from breweries both near and and far will be available to attendees.
Managing Director Gary Walters said: “The beer festival is one of the highlights of our year. It gives us the chance to showcase beers from independent craft breweries from around the UK, pouring everything from hazy IPAs and dessert stouts to crisp lagers, alongside a selection of local ciders. This year we will also have craft spirits on offer for non-beer drinkers with our hopped gin and a vodka produced by Ludlow Distillery.”
The event is free to enter, being held during normal opening hours in the daytime. There will also be street food and entertainment during the weekend. The Pizza Girls will be firing up the oven on the Saturday to provide a range of pizzas, while The Beefy Boys will be grilling their popular burgers on the Sunday. Live comedy and music events will be held on the Friday and Saturday nights with tickets available from the brewery.
Previous events have featured beers from guest breweries including Oakham Ales, Purple Moose, Titanic, Tiny Rebel, Deya, Wily Fox, Bristol Beer Factory, Fixed Wheel, Vocation.
Ludlow Brewery, based at Station Drive, a 5 minute walk from Ludlow Train Station, will open the doors at 11am on Friday 9th February.
