Meet the New Ludlow Rocks Hazy IPA - Brewed for Live at Ludlow Castle

Summer at Ludlow Castle means one thing - incredible live music in one of Britain's most iconic concert settings. And what's a great gig without a great beer? That's why we're excited to unveil Ludlow Rocks Hazy IPA - The Remix, brewed exclusively for Live at Ludlow Castle in collaboration with Future Sound, the team behind the much-loved summer concert series.
For 2026, we’ve given our popular concert beer a complete refresh.
Our brewer, Freddie Barnes, wanted to create a beer with bigger hop aromas and flavours while keeping the light, refreshing drinkability that makes it perfect for warm evenings and live music.
“We wanted to turn everything up a notch without making the beer heavier,” says Freddie. “The aim was a hazy IPA that’s packed with juicy hop character but remains crisp, refreshing and incredibly easy to drink. It’s a beer that’s made for enjoying throughout a summer gig."
The Remix
At 4.5% ABV, Ludlow Rocks Hazy IPA is light and refreshing, pouring with a pale golden hue and its signature haze.
New World Nectaron and Motueka hops deliver amped-up aromas and flavours of soft tropical fruit, alongside vibrant lemon and lime notes. A heavier oat and wheat grain bill creates a soft, rounded mouthfeel, while a gentle, balanced bitterness keeps every sip crisp, clean and ready for an encore.
What Makes It Hazy?
Unlike traditional pale ales, modern Hazy IPAs are brewed with a heavier high-protein grain bill, using oats and wheat alongside light, neutral base malts.
During dry-hopping, these proteins naturally bond with hop oils, creating the beer’s characteristic light haze, fuller body and silky mouthfeel, while helping to carry the vibrant tropical aromas that define the style.
The result is a beer that’s bursting with flavour while remaining smooth, refreshing and remarkably drinkable.
